From a technical brochure: (Thanks to Professor Elliot Tanis for this info)

Many calculations require the use of several constants, the IME Model MC 205 Multi-constant enables a user to call out a maximum of 24 constant factors of 8 digits each plus decimal point. The basic unit consists of a group of 8 constant banks, into which can be connected
two additional planes, each containing an additional 8 constants.
The constants are entered into the MC 205 by positioning thumb wheel type rotary switches until the desired digit appears... the decimal point in the same manner.
A small keyboard. containing three rows of 8 keys each is utilized in entering the constants into the calculator.
