In essence needles which are electronically driven, speed: about 600 points/second.
This made it possible to print about 90 characters/second.

The white eccentric disc is rotating,
therefore the printhead-assembly is moving horizontally.

The whole printer-mechanisme is driven by a belt,
(left, underneath the three screws), which is unfortunately broken.
On the same transmission, there's a electronic control,
carried out by a thin disc and sensor.
